Rubicor’s Executive Management team has considerable and varied experience in the recruitment industry both in Australia and internationally. This includes extensive experience running small and large multi-disciplined recruitment organisations. Our head office team supports the operating Businesses across many diverse areas.

Kevin Levine - Chief Executive Officer

Kevin Levine is the Chief Executive Officer for the Rubicor Group, nearing a decade of C-Level experience in the recruitment industry. As CEO, Kevin is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Group and its 22 Operating Companies, determining and implementing a transparent and collaborative vision along with the companies' strategic plans. His focus is on the sustained growth of high quality revenue streams, and generating enhanced EBITDA though existing and new business channels.

With a financial background, Kevin has a commercial and operational focus based on profit maximisation. He couples this with his ability to identify market opportunities, understand revenue and cost drivers and identify and enhance operating metrics. A Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years’ experience in senior financial management positions, Kevin joined Rubicor in 2005, as the Chief Financial Officer. He was a major contributor to the Groups successful IPO in June 07. Kevin was promoted to CEO when Jane Beaumont retired in late 2012.

As CFO for the Rubicor Group, Kevin was intrinsic in the acquisition of 14 businesses between May 2006 – February 2008 totalling $140m, with EBITDA of $30m. Under Kevin’s financial leadership and guidance Rubicor grew from $6m/$0.4m revenue/EBITDA in FY05 to circa $400m/$25m revenue/EBITDA in FY08. This was achieved by driving acquisition activity and implementing a robust reporting framework across the network.

After Graduating from University of Witswatersrand, South Africa with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Accounting, Kevin was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 1989 in South Africa and in 1995 in Australia.

Prior to joining Rubicor, Kevin was the CFO of Trade Wind Communications Limited, an Australian public company previously listed in Canada and the USA.

While Kevin’s focus is on the bottom line, and delivering a profit for our investors he also understands that creating a high performance culture is backed by a fun environment that attracts the best talent in the market. His philosophy is that a compelling EVP is a key building block for sustained business growth and he strives to make Rubicor an employer that the best talent will be attracted to..

Kevin currently resides in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, with his wife Sheryl and two teenage daughters. When he is not in the office or being a dedicated family man, he likes to enjoy local Bondi beach.

 

Sharad Loomba - General Counsel and Company Secretary

Sharad Loomba is the General Counsel and Company Secretary of the Rubicor Group. Sharad advises the CEO and the Board in connection with legal and corporate governance matters and is responsible for the legal and company secretarial functions across the Rubicor Group.

Sharad is a corporate lawyer with over 20 years’ experience, having worked with leading law firms in Australia, and also in the US, prior to joining the Rubicor Group in May 2007. Sharad has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

Sue Turk- Chief Operating Officer

After five successful years in an Executive role at Rubicor, Sue Turk has been elevated to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Sue's record in the Recruitment industry is impressive, spanning a decade working in strategic and general Management roles for leading brands, both private and ASX listed, in the sector.

Sue will ensure effective execution of strategic plans across the group whilst ensuring optimal performance against tactical budgets and profit goals. The Managing Directors of the 21 business in the group will report directly to Sue. Her experience and expertise will be invaluable as she proactively provides leadership, guidance and support to each of the individual businesses so that they collectively achieve industry best practice standards and continuous improvements in productivity.

Graduating with a degree in Economics from Macquarie University, Sue gained experience in Community Development. She soon reached management levels in the Public Sector, then pursued an opportunity with a leading Australian provider of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). In this capacity, Sue became even more passionate about the Human Equation in business and the critical importance of having the right people with the right skills and cultural fit in place. She made the decision then to move into the Recruitment sector, eventually joining Rubicor in 2008.
