About The Role:
Undertake on-site weights and measurements of various special purpose and heavy vehicles. This information will then be entered onto a mainframe databse.
Heavy Vehicle Measurements
- Weigh vehicles to determine compliance with guidelines and/or legal mass requirement
- Measure vehicles to determine compliance with guidelines and/or dimensional limits
Advice & Reporting
- Liaise with permits managers and coordinator to organise check weighing priorities
- Provide advice and assistance to the transport industry and other key stakeholders in order to promote wider understanding of compliance standards
