APS 4 Ministerial Coordinator
  • Initial 3 month non-ongoing contract with possible extension
  • Minimum Baseline Security Clearance
  • Must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible to apply
 
Our Government client is seeking an experienced APS 4 Ministerial Coordinator with recent experience in a similar role to assist the Department with coordination and parliamentary tasks.
 
If you are an Administrator with relevant experience who enjoys variety, multi-tasking and being busy so your day flies by then this government agency wants to hear from you.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Preparation of drafts to incoming correspondence
  • Coordinating input from other line areas
  • Assisting with preparation of Senate Estimates papers
  • Assisting with Question Time Briefs
  • Responding to various reports and complaints from external bodies
  • Coordinating meeting papers, agenda papers and briefs for the Executive
Your background:
  • Must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible to apply
  • Minimum Baseline Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Coordination role
  • Have recent experience in ministerial coordination
  • Have an understanding or experience in parliamentary support and machinery of government processes
  • Possess excellent writing skills
  • Have recent experience interpreting and understanding Policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a faced paced environment
