An opportunity exists for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join the Financial Assurance Section of a large Government Department.  In this role you will be working independently as well as bigger part of a larger team with the goal to deliver the 2018 Financial Accountability process.  You will need to be comfortable using excel to manipulate information, identify trends and assist with preparing briefing and policy documentation

Essential skills in this role are:

  • Problem solving, analytical skills and sensible judgment
  • An appreciation for number and able to translate and present raw data for a range of audiences
  • A general understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Adaptability,initiative and the ability to drive work outcomes in a flexible and changing environment
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
