Reporting to the GM Marketing and Business Projects the role of the Brand and Communications Manager is to provide leadership in producing highly customer engaging and innovative marketing plans to project Panasonic’s profile in market in a cost effective tangible nature. This role is all about collaboration; not just with your team of 2 (advertising and promotions, as well as digital content), but cross-functionally with the wider sales and commercial business units to provide material and campaigns that are not only relevant per channel and sector, but also optimise maximum returns on the corporate brands through effective comms, PR and sponsorship activities. Consumer electronics is a highly competitive and fast-paced environment, and so the effective tracking and management of every market engagement needs to be fiercely tracked for maximum return on investment for critical effectiveness using a complete suite of marketing tools both through the line and especially digital activities.
I’m looking for pure talent in this role; confident articulate and passionate. With a strong proven track record in consumer marketing you’ll be able to produce rabbits from a hat on limited budgets with maximum creative results. Previous experience in digital integrated campaigns and strong media channel experience is also essential. This is a highly visible and accountable role in a fast-paced and busy sales environment, and you’ll be able to roll with the punches and manage up as well as down in a highly collaborate and consultative nature.
