Business Analyst
**Government sponsorship on offer for Baseline Security Clearance
  • Obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
  • Must be an Australian Citizen
  • 6 month initial contract with poss multiple extensions
Our government client is seeking a motivated individual to drive several ICT enabled business transformation projects.  The successful candidate will commence in August on an initial six month contract with the possibility of extensions.  If you have experience in Microsoft technologies, particularly Distributed .NET Enterprise Application architecture, Microsoft Office integration and SQL Server and have advanced project management experience – this will be an advantage.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop, analyse and document current and future business processes and requirements
  • Actively engage relevant stakeholders to ensure the business requirements are accurately captured, agreed and that stakeholders are fully informed and engaged
  • Communicate with business and technical SME's to define needs based on an understanding of business, information and technical constraints
  • Identify risks, issues and escalate to the Project Manager for review and corrective action where necessary
  • Identify and engage relevant stakeholders and setup relevant workshops to elicit current and future system needs
  • Ability to improve the operations of section, branch and division
  • Communicate across business, technical and executive stakeholders
Your Background:
  • To be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian Citizen
  • Hold a current National Police Check
  • Obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Business Analyst delivering multi-faceted artefacts for ICT enabling projects
  • Demonstrated experience in SQL and querying databases using tools such as Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio
  • Development of cloud native applications, particularly in an Azure environment
  • Demonstrated ability to elicit, clarify, record and manage requirements
