An established multi-family office seeking to appoint an energetic, and experienced business development professional to drive growth of its new retail superannuation fund through employer groups
As a multi-family office, our client advises and arranges for clients to invest in local and international markets, arrange debt from one of 45 local lenders, and over 100 international lenders, multiple general and risk insurance issuers, and assists with other administration support functions.
Business development region – Victoria/Tasmania, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Victoria/South Australia


Your new company

  • An existing book of c$15m of clients with recurring income that they are looking for you to take over, and re-profile to our clients approach
  • Our client will be launching their Retail Super Fund in October, which will provide a substantial marketing support/exposure and “product” differentiator

  • Administration costs comparable with industry super funds, however with a more flexible investment administration platform that enables direct equities, managed funds, separately managed accounts, term deposits and cash accounts
  • High automatic acceptance insurances limits with customisable retail insurance plans
  • Automated super lookup and consolidation onboarding tools
  • Additional opportunities for super members to benefit from our Clients services, which includes financial planning and structuring, risk and general insurance advice, debt advisory, active investment management, administration and banking support
  • Highly technologically advanced member profiling and fact finding to enable greater servicing levels

You new role...

  • Responsible for growth from new employers and members in accordance with the growth strategy and business plan throughout the sales regions
  • Sales strategies are implemented through both education of employers and potential employee members via family office services and employee well being programs
  • Support marketing initiatives to grow fund and the company
  • Assist with providing suggestions for product and technology development
  • Highly autonomous role

 What you will bring...

  • Must demonstrate solid sales pedigree.
  • Must have a business plan to build on, ideally you have an existing client base to pull across
  • At least five years of B2B and B2C sales and servicing experience, preferably in superannuation or at least in financial services or human resources
  • Proven high level relationship building and business development skills with Boards and executive leadership of existing and target clients
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed business plan targets 
  • High levels of self-motivation and self-management as this is a highly autonomous role
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Insurance and financial planning experience
