Job Description

Change and Communications Specialist
  • Key change management role
  • ASAP start - contract to 30 June 2019 with possibility of extension
  • 2+ years previous experience
Our Government client is seeking an experienced Change and Communications Specialist to provide strategic and operational support and work with key stakeholders in developing, implementing and adopting change.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Applying structured methodology and lead change management activities
  • Creating change management strategies
  • Identifying potential risks, points of resistance and prepare specific plans to mitigate or address the risks
  • Conducting impact and readiness assignments, evaluating and presenting the findings in a logical, easy to understand manner to the stakeholders
  • Using project and change management standards to develop, document and implement detailed change management plans
  • Creating and enabling support and reinforcement mechanisms
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding the facilitation of engagement activities
  • Evaluating and ensuring stakeholder readiness for change
Your Background:
  • You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible to apply
  • Hold or willingness to undergo and obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
  • 2 + years’ experience in working in an organisational change management role
  • Expertise in scoping and delivering change and communications strategies
  • Excellent skills in translating highly technical information to non-technical peers and stakeholders
  • Manage high workloads and accomplish goals within tight timelines
  • Strong project and people management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and have a willingness to share your knowledge with others
  • High level of communication, research and analytical skills
