Job Description

Data/System Analyst Modeller
Our large Government client is seeking to procure the services of a Data/System Analyst Modeller to work with product owners, software developers and subject matter experts.
The specialist will work in an agile way within the Scaled Agile Framework or equivalent.
  • 12 month contract with possibility of extension
  • Current National Police check & Baseline Security Clearance required
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Data/System Analyst Modeller
Key responsibilities:
  • Programing using SQL coding language
  • Analysing data which enter or exit business intelligence systems
  • Modelling data
Eligibility requirements:
  • You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible to apply
  • Current National Police Check required
  • Must hold a current minimum Baseline Security Clearance
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Data/System Analyst Modellers
  • Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions
  • Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models and respective metadata
  • Analyse data-related system integration challenges and propose solutions
  • Developing and maintaining a product backlog, including user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Experience in programing using SQL coding language for analysing data which enter or exit business intelligence systems or other source data through the use of tools such SQL Server Management Studio
  • Demonstrated experience modelling data (ERD, ensemble modelling, DataVault, Star Schema – eg. Kimball)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Negotiation and liaison skills
  • Demonstrated experience presenting and conducting workshops with users
  • Working in a team environment
