Job Description

.Net Developer (ICT Solutions)
  • Must be an Australian Citizen
  • Sponsorship for Baseline security clearance on offer
  • Canberra City location
 
Our government client is seeking an experienced .Net develop to develop and implement ICT programs for a number of key Department projects. The successful applicant will commence in late July/early August on an initial contract until 30 June, 2020 with the possibility for an extension.
 
Your Responsibilities:
  • Software analysis to derive function, performance and interface requirements;
  • Implementation of code from the defined design;
  • Upgrade/installation of new software/tool baselines; and;
  • Understanding the software development methodology, tools and procedures required to complete software engineering tasks.
Your Background:
  • You must be an Australian Citizen;
  • You must have the ability to obtain or hold a current security clearance;
  • Demonstrated experience as a Microsoft .Net Developer, preferably in a complex application development environment;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a flair for creating innovative solutions;
  • The ability to liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders including business areas and technical peers;
  • SQL experience including writing, optimising and validating queries and stored procedures;
  • Strong communication skills; and;
  • Demonstrated practical experience as CRM Dynamics (2015) Developer and knowledge in programming multi-tier enterprise system delivery with thin client technologies (desirable).
