EL1 Senior Facilities Manager 
 
  • 3-6 month non-ongoing position with possibility of extension

Our Government client is seeking an experienced EL1 Senior Facilities Manager to manage a large property portfolio within the Capital Works Program.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Coordinating inspections
  • Developing standardised frameworks and provision of strategic advice
  • Ensure facilities and assets are fit-for-purpose & compliant with legislation
  • Operate to achieve financial and environmental sustainability
  • Arrange audits on building condition assessments in-line with appropriate legislation
  • Managing a number of repair and maintenance programs for properties
  • Managing property maintenance, property projects and asset management plans
  • Leading and managing a small team
 
Key requirements:
  • You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible to apply.
  • Willing to undergo a National Criminal History check (prior to commencement).
  • Demonstrated experience in facility project management and property maintenance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of the Building Code of Australia, Essential Service Measures, Work Health and Safety, Disability Discrimination Act and Hazardous Materials Assessment.
  • Demonstrated experience in asset management plans.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders.
  • Seeking  a person with a positive attitude, strong work ethics and respectful to people they work with.
