Job Description

Helpdesk Support Officers
 
  • July start
  • 12 month contract
  • Current National Police Check required
Our government client are keen to engage Helpdesk Support Officers to provide first level support for technical issues and second tier support to eBusiness Service Centres.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Manage and respond to calls and emails from customers
  • Manage and escalate priority issues
  • Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Diagnose and resolve basic issues relating to online systems
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on operations service levels and KPI’s
  • Create, store, share and manage information
  • Conduct research and prepare information relating to emerging issues
  • Possess a friendly and professional phone manner
  • Ability to listen to customers and assist them to complete the survey
  • Proven ability to log and monitor all calls with great attention to detail to allow a traceable record of any customer interaction
  • Ability to monitor and action various inboxes on a frequent basis 
  • Communicate and engage with clients, stakeholders and colleagues
  • Be able to work well in a team environment
  • Have excellent Microsoft office skills including Outlook and Excel spreadsheets
Your background:
  • You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible to apply
  • You must have a Current National Police Check to apply
  • You must be eligible to apply for a Baseline Security Clearance
  • High level of customer service skills and professionalism
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-skilled team environment
  • Demonstrated experience in a technical support helpdesk role
  • High quality written and verbal communication skills in a technical space
