Our client is an up and coming mining company with current operations in NSW. Both the HR and Community Relations functions have need of an experienced and confident individual to support them.
The HR department has had a revamp so there are many procedures and documents that all need formatting and processes to be implemented. An understanding of HR processes and onboarding in particular would be an advantage.
The Community relations is entering a new phase with the progression of mining operations in the coming months. You will need to be impartial, yet able to engage. You will need to be a good writer and confident on the phone. General tasks will include meeting minutes, event management, data entry.
It's a full time role on a 6 month fixed term contract. For the right person there is a very strong possibility this will be extended.
This role will potentially offer a route into either HR or Community Relations and allow you to work in a business that is pioneering in its Community relations and being instrumental in the development of key HR practices which will be the foundation of the business for many years to come.
This role would probably suit an HR or Community relations junior or an experienced EA / Personal Assistant looking to specialise.
The salary is top end $80k plus super (pro rata) and is based in Brisbane CBD.
