The newly created BDM role is to proactively manage customer relationships, manage opportunities from current and new customers and close deals in a way that meets customer needs. You be working with a diverse sales team where collaboration is key.
Responsibilities and key activities
Customer relationship management
  • Proactively develops and creates customer relationships
  • Develops and grows the organisations customer base and market area
  • Creates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire sales team
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and solves complaints
  • Maintains customer data
  • Generates leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets
  • Finds customer needs and designs solution to meet them
  • Arranges pre-tender and pre-booking reviews
  • Site reviews to conclude into contracts and communicate importance to customers
  • Validates that the contents of the order received from the customer are in line with the negotiation process outcome, including terms and conditions, quality and safety
  • Deliver the opportunities over to Operations with complete and correct information
  • Gathering industry findings and future information on the elevator, escalator and building industry
  • Responsible for timely and accurate reporting
  • Supports the finance function in money collection
  • Driving execution of sales plan
  • Is accountable for pricing
To be considered you’ll have the passion and drive for growth and success for yourself and the organisation. You will need 5+ years experience within a similar role and have previously worked in the elevator, escalator and building industry.
