We are looking for an experienced Project Officer to work among the Facilities Services Team for a 6 month contract opportunity.  The Government Department is located South of the River and they are ideally looking for someone to commence IMMEDIATELY.

This role is to assist in ensuring that facilities are managed and maintained in accordance with strategic and operational objectives along with Government policy.


SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Manage all facilities, including owned and leased properties;
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of facility services policies and practices;
  • Responsible for project managing activities relating to the maintenance, repair and fit out of existing facilities;
  • Coordinate Facility Lease arrangements.


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Understanding of property (facility) lease management arrangements;
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance management;
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills;
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills.
