With over 25 years providing quality temporary, contract and permanent recruitment solutions to the Australian public sector, we have forged an intimate knowledge of the demands facing both our clients and candidates. We specialise in formal preferred supplier relationships within the public sector, and also have the adaptability and expertise to work with both our public service and private sector clients on an as-needs basis.
 
Our small team is looking for an experienced recruiter to join the team to grow and manage our contracting/temp business. This opportunity will suit someone with great customer service values, excellent organisational and time management skills, and, superior communication skills. Of course, proven success in running a high-volume, fast-moving contracting desk is essential. Previous experience in working with public sector clients is an advantage.
 
Your day-to-day duties include:
  • Screen, interview and skill assess candidates
  • Conduct references
  • Refer candidates to suitable positions and coordinate interviews
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process for temp and perm candidates
  • Visit working contractors on site
  • Visit existing and new clients on site
  • Regularly contact clients to maintain and develop strong business relationships
  • Develop new business – both in the public and private sectors
  • Handle queries from our contractors and clients regarding their placements, working hours, salary, pay issues, agreements and terms and conditions
  • Continually manage all active jobs – review, follow-up and monitor daily with clients and internal staff  
  • Ensure contractor and perm files are kept up-to-date in our database
  • Ensure timely billing of all services, with correct invoice data and rates
