Our client is seeking an experienced Service Desk Consultant to offer technical help desk support by taking calls from customers and taking them to resolution status, using internal tools and operating procedures.
Primarily you will be required to accurately capture, update and log all required customer data using our clients call management tool. You may also be required to respond to e-mails and follow up with phone calls
  • All calls should be handled in a professional manner and taken to resolution status or escalated accordingly
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
  • NV1 Security Clearance Preferred - Baseline Security is suffice
  • Willing to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 Service Desk environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated work experience in a service desk or call centre environment
  • Ability to listen to customers and understand their needs and deliver first class customer service
  • Ability to investigate, analyse and advice customers on their IT needs
  • Basic trouble shooting skills
  • Demonstrated experience using MS Office Excel and Word
  • Ability to co-ordinate with fellow work colleagues and 3rd party suppliers to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient and effective manner
  • Proven ability to log and monitor all calls with great attention to detail to allow a traceable record of any customer interaction
