Job Description

Software Developer
 
Our large Government client is seeking to procure the services of a Software Developer to work with product owners, software developers and subject matter experts.
 
Our client’s program requires the Software Developer with over five years' experience of using .NET development, with a strong understanding of T-SQL, MS SQL, OOP principles, N-tier and N-layered architecture, SQL server, entity framework and unit testing.
 
The specialist will work in an agile way within the Scaled Agile Framework or equivalent.
  • 12 month contract with possibility of extension
  • Baseline Security Clearance required
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Software Developer
Key responsibilities:
  • Development within .NET, full stack software development and databases
  • Analyse data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions
  • Development using OOP principles, N-tier and N-layered architecture
 
Eligibility requirements:
  • You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible to apply
  • Must hold a current minimum Baseline Security Clearance
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Software developer working with a range of stakeholders
  • In-depth software design experience including development and validation
  • Expert level knowledge of .NET, full stack software development and databases
  • T-SQL and MS SQL
  • OOP principles, N-tier and N-layered architecture .Net core, C#, webapi, SQL server, entity framework and unit testing
  • Analyse data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions
  • Developing and maintaining a product backlog, including user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Negotiation and liaison skills
  • Demonstrated experience presenting and conducting workshops with users
  • Working in a team environment
