We have an exciting opportunity available for a Technical Assistant within a highly regarded Financial Services organisation in Perth.

The position primarily involves reviewing of client's financial plans and strategy in line with their company and personal goals. The incumbent will be responsible also for assisting project leaders and advisers in sourcing data, maintaining client records in accordance with processes and procedures and delivering accurate advice to the clients. 

Responsibilities of this role include;
  • Providing research and analytical support to Project Leaders and Advisory Teams
  • Preparation of required information for meetings, presentations and client progress meetings
  • Participation in team meetings and presentations
  • Consistent communication with internal members of the organisation as well as external stakeholder and clients
  • Management of client portfolios
  • Provide advice to the Advisory Team and Project Manager regarding business planning and structuring
  • Active engagement in internal and external seminars relevant to the organisation and industry
The suitable candidate will possess;
  • 1-2 years experience within a Financial Services Industry role or similar
  • Ability to work within a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Completion or progress towards completion of Diploma of Financial Planning, Adv Dip or CFP
  • Knowledge of investment platforms, transactions and fee structures
  • Superior communication skills
  • Natural ability to self motivate and work as part of a cohesive team
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to be discreet with information
  • Demonstrate a commitment to high quality of work and a proactive and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Applications
Experience with Xplan is advantageous as is knowledge in areas of financial planning, implementation of SOA's and alternate entity structures.
